Thermal paper

Thermal paper is a type of paper impregnated with chemicals that react to thermal printers by changing color to black when exposed to heat. Thermal papers are usually sensitive and need topcoating to protect them from scratching and fading due to exposure to UV light, heat, water, oils, etc. Thermal papers are often used for barcode labels.
